What devices are compatible with your apps?
Our mobile applications work on iOS 12+ and Android 8.0+ devices with GPS capabilities. For optimal performance in GLandNav, we recommend mounting your device securely in your vehicle with clear sky visibility.
How accurate is the GPS guidance in GLandNav?
GLandNav typically provides 1-2 meter accuracy with standard GPS. You can achieve higher precision (up to 30cm) when paired with compatible external GNSS receivers. The accuracy can vary based on satellite conditions and your device's GPS quality.
What file formats do your apps support?
Our applications support importing and exporting field boundaries using KMZ, KML, SHP, and GeoJSON formats. This allows for seamless integration with most major farm management systems and GIS software.
How does GLandGo measure field areas?
GLandGo offers two measurement methods: manual point placement on a map or automatic GPS tracking as you walk/drive the perimeter. Both methods provide accurate area calculations with support for various units (acres, hectares, square meters, etc.).
Do I need internet connection to use the apps?
After initial setup, both GLandNav and GLandGo can operate without internet connection for field operations. However, some features like satellite imagery, syncing data to the cloud, and sharing require an internet connection.
Can I share my field data with team members?
Yes, both GLandNav and GLandGo allow you to export and share field data with colleagues via email, messaging apps, or cloud storage. GLandGo also offers web links for easy sharing of measurement results without requiring the app.
